“The hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” – John 4:23,24
Berlin Immanuel Church holds main service on Sundays and a midweek service on Wednesday evenings. We believe service attendance is an essential part of our faith and relationship with God. It is God’s will for us to honor the Lord’s day and worship him. Attending service is a visible, tangible expression of our faith and love towards God, and a unique opportunity to experience God’s presence in the community of like-minded believers through prayer, worship, Christ-centered preaching and fellowship. Service attendance builds us up in faith and also provides fellowship where God enables us, through spiritual gifts, to serve one another and reveal the power of gospel.
“We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.” – Psalm 78:4
Families with children are welcome to attend our services. We hold a separate program for children during Sunday service where they have an opportunity to listen to Bible stories, play and build friendships through fun and enjoyable activities.
“I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” – Romans 1:16a
We are passionate to follow our calling to proclaim the gospel to all nations, and we invite those who share this passion to join our outreach group that walks the streets of Berlin during weekdays. We are compelled by the love of Jesus Christ to share the good news with those who don’t know Him, and we strive to do so in a personal way, sharing the gospel, prayers and inviting people to join our services and Bible studies to learn more about gospel.
“May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.” – 1 Peter 1:2-4
We invite those exploring the Christian faith to learn more about God through weekly Bible studies, but also believers who wish to grow in knowledge of Jesus Christ and more deeply grounded in the word of God. We regularly meet in a group to study Romans, the greatest letter ever written that impacted countless Christians in the history and continues to impact our lives as well. You are also welcome to set up an individual Bible study, ask questions, receive counseling or prayers on individual basis during the week.
